History:
Eastern Viking/Viking Rus
The Vikings were trading since around the 7th century A.D, mostly with the peoples of the Baltic States. As time passed, the Vikings built up small towns and trading posts along the waterways. Vikings were not solely traders but also gained a reputation for pillaging the townships and cities firstly in the coastal regions, eventually foraging further land inwards. The Vikings quickly realised the opportunities given by using horses as an effective method of mobilisation. The Vikings never really used cavalry to any means. The clothing of the eastern Viking was defined by the weather conditions.
