The history of Crossbows is long and History has showed that the technology was forever striving to introduce new and better models to shoot arrows accurately with more distance or velocity. Our bust portrays a crossbowman from the 12
th or 13
th century. Crossbows varied in size and weight and the one portrayed here was light and easy to use, this enabled the bowman a fast shot of an arrow. Crossbows like this were in use in the Crusades.
